JOYCE ANN HUTCHINSON LEE Effingham, SC Joyce Ann Hutchinson Lee, 69, of Effingham, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2013, at Medical University of South Carolina. Mrs. Lee was born in Florence County, SC, a daughter of the late Jake Evander Hutchinson and Ida Colee Poston Hutchinson. Graduated from Hannah Pamplico High School and was a member of Unity Baptist Church.Mrs. Lee retired from General Electric after twenty-six years of service and worked at Western Sizzlin Restaurant.She was a beloved mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Lawrence LaRue Lee; and her brother, Roger Hutchinson. Surviving are her daughter, Lena LaNette (Joe) Byrd of Effingham; her granddaughters, Brittany Byrd and Caitlin Byrd, both of Effingham; her siblings, Gayle (Joe) Kelly of Effingham, Thelma (David) Kennedy of Effingham, Jean (Clifford) Hanna of Charleston, Mazie (Robert) Stevens of Hyman, Louise McBride (Ralph Lipscomb) of Summerville, Donnie (Carol) Hutchinson of Effingham, Johnnie (Jeanette) Hutchinson of Florence; a number of nieces and nephews and by Charles E. Lee of Florence, the father of her children. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Unity Baptist Church.Burial will follow at Prosser Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
