Edward Earl Carroll

Edward Earl Carroll, 77, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016. Mr. Carroll was born in Tallassee, AL, a son of the late J B Carroll and Mary B. Clayton Carroll. Surviving are his wife, Sylvia Cooper Carroll; son, Brent (Katie) Carroll; daughters, Norma (Melvin) Jordan, Sandra (Glen) Johnson, Lisa (Rick) Lewis, Dana Thrower and Heather Haselden; grandchildren, Chris Parker, Shane Parker, Mandy Burcham, Amy Hinkson, Tyler Lewis, Spencer Lewis, Casey Robinson, Laurin Thrower, Makayla Haselden and Jonah Carroll; ten great-grandchildren and his sister, Mary-Kate Cooper. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Buford Carroll and his sister, Anne Sasser. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2016, at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
