Wilma Puckett

Wilma Snead Puckett, 81, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2017. Mrs. Puckett was born the youngest child of the late Stanhope Snead and Madge Snead.Mrs. Puckett was a member of First Baptist Church and employed in the office of J. P. Stevens/Delta Woodside her entire working career until retirement. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Hugh Puckett; grandson, Brantley Puckett; sisters, Joyce Cassada and Gladys Waggoner; brothers, Hugh Snead, Earl Snead and Maxwell Snead. Mrs. Puckett is survived by her daughters, Teresa Benton (Russell) of Pamplico and Brenda Campbell (Kenny) of Gaffney, SC; son, Michael Puckett of Coward; daughter-in-law, Wanda Puckett; grandchildren, Brandon Puckett, Amy (Jacob) Blanton, Cleve Campbell, Courtney Campbell, Whitney (Randy) Aguilar, Lauren (Cody) Stanton and Jennifer (Edward) Coleman; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas Snead (Nellie) of South Boston, VA; sister, Shirley Burgess of Courtland, VA; sisters-in-law, Maude Puckett and Hattie Leah Puckett, both of Scottsburg, VA; Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017, at Prosser Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
