Willie Mae Hutchinson Smith

Willie Mae Hutchinson Smith, 79, of Pamplico, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 19, 2014, at McLeod Hospice house. Mrs. Smith was born in Florence County, South Carolina, a daughter of the late J. C. Hutchinson and Veatrice Hyman Hutchinson.She was a charter member of The Well/Pamplico Pentecostal Holiness Church in Pamplico. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Vickie Lynch and three brothers, David Hutchinson, Thurman Hutchinson and Dallas Hutchinson. Surviving are her devoted husband of sixty years, John W. Smith; her children, J. L. (Tammy) Smith of Pamplico, Paul Smith of Florida, and Helen (Gary) Kilby and Willie (Roberta) Smith both of Wilkesboro, NC; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren;a brother, Kelly Hutchinson of Pamplico and a sister, Barbara (David) Davis of Timmonsville. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at The Well/Pamplico Pentecostal Holiness Church.Burial will follow at Woodside Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Church.
