William "Wl" L. Taylor

William “WL” Taylor, Sr, 76, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021. Mr. Taylor was born a son of the late Maynard Rae Street Taylor and Chalmers Edward Taylor. He was a mechanic and enjoyed singing Gospel music.He attended Bethel Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, Chalmers “Junior” E. Taylor, II. He is survived by his wife, Linda Rogers Taylor; sons, William Lacy Taylor, Jr. (Anissa) and George Edward Taylor (Sherry), both of Florence; daughter, Paula Rae Taylor of Florence; grandchildren, William “Trey” Lacy Taylor, III (Jessica) of Turbeville and Amber Taylor of Florence; great-grandchildren, Annaleigh G. Taylor, Camden Jordan, Gage Jordan, Abigail N. Taylor, William “Will” Lacy Taylor, IV, Logan Taylor and Tucker Martin Taylor; brothers, Charles Edward Taylor (Gail), Norman Ray Taylor and Allen Lavern “Bug” Taylor, all of Florence; and sister, Carolyn Sue Hudson of Florence. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
