William Eugene Kelehear

William Eugene Kelehear, Sr., 71, of Florence, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018. Mr. Kelehear was born in Charleston, SC a son of the Late Seaborn Bill Kelehear and Hazel Evelyn McRae Kelehear.He was a US Marine Corps veteran, a police officer for the Charleston County Police Department and a retired truck driver having worked for Jones Brothers Trucking. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Billie Kelehear, Jr. and brother, Daniel Kelehear. Surviving are his son, Jason and his wife, Christina, Kelehear of Florence; daughters, Brandy Kelehear of Florence and Samantha and her husband, Kegan, Ethridge of Louisiana; eleven grandchildren; sister, Edna Lynette Amaker of Charleston, SC and a special niece, Terry Jernigan. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 PM Thursday,July 26, 2018 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.Funeral services will follow at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
