WILIAM DEWEY HILL FLORENCE, SC William Dewey Hill, 85, of Florence, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Carolinas Hospital System under the care of hospice. Mr. Hill was born in Florence, SC, a son of the late Dudley W. Hill and Harriett Brown Hill.He was the Owner/Operator of Hill Roofing Company in Charleston for thirty-five years. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Surviving are his wife, Lucille Hill; his children, Ronald (Sue) Hill of Charleston, Gary William Hill andBarbara (Travis) Litchfield both of Moncks Corner, SC and Kathy (Wayne) Lindsay of Henderson, NV; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 4 brothers and 1 sister. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Family will receive friends immediately following the service.
