William Duke Fields

William Duke Fields, 75, of Florence, SC, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017. Mr. Fields was born in Barnwell, SC, a son of the late Clarence Fields and Tencher Duke. He was a graduate of the Barnwell School System.He was a train conductor with AmTrak Railroad and loved his job.Mr. Fields was an avid golfer and loved to shag. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jackie Fields. Surviving are his sons, William (Donna) Scott Fields and William Rick Fields; his daughter, Tiffany (Michael) Paige Tolley; grandchildren, Ransom Scott, Grace Ellen Tolley, Clara Michael Tolley, Nathan Scott Fields and Lauren Elizabeth Fields; and his sister, Frankie Sutton. Family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2017, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
