William "Bill" Meadors Stricklin, Jr.

William Meadors “Bill” Stricklin, Jr., 45, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017. Bill was born the son of William M. Stricklin and Bobbie Sharon Brown Stricklin.He was a 1990 graduate of South Florence High School.Bill loved hunting and fishing.He was a truck driver with Ruan Transportation Corporation.Bill was a Christian-hearted young man and loved helping others. He lived “Love thy neighbor as thyself”. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sons, John Adam Stricklin and Tyler Lagrand Stricklin, both of Florence; brother, Mac Stricklin (Letha) of TN and sisters, Susan Dixon (Ed) and Grace Page (Mitchell), both of Florence. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 24, 2017, at Mount Hope Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
