William "Bill" Oliver Peace

William “Bill” Oliver Peace, 83, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018. Mr. Peace was born the son of the late Robert Peace and Dollie Mae Denby Peace.He was a veteran of the US Air Force and a retired manager from Kmart.Mr. Peace was a member of Peace Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife, Lizzie Rouse Peace; daughter, Denise Benton and eight brothers and sisters. Surviving are his daughters, Teresa Young (Victor) and Janet Wiggins (Donnie); grandchildren, Jennifer Coates, Christie Hicks (Trevor), Brandon Wiggins (Heather), Ashley Young, Tayler Young and Denise Wiggins; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Doug Peace (Christine) and John Peace (Nellie); sisters, Frances Harlow and Jean Crabtree; and sister-in-law, Sarah Rowell. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 1, 2018 at Peace Free Will Baptist Church directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
