William M. Attaway

William M. Attaway, 79, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2020. Mr. Attaway was born in Greensboro, NC a son of the late James Attaway and Lydia Eleanor White Morgan Attaway.He was a VP of the African Exchange at Citibank, was a US Air Force veteran, and traveled the world extensively. He was preceded in death by his parents and by two sisters, Joan Carol Rembert and Patricia Ann Attaway. Surviving are his wife, Spring Lorraine James Attaway of Florence; daughters, Dr. Nicole Attaway of Jersey City, NJ and Pvt. Sasha Attaway of Florence, SC. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, February 19, 2021 at the Florence National Cemetery.
