Willard Wayne "Billy" Purvis

Willard Wayne “Billy” Purvis, 70, of Evergreen, SC, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Mr. Purvis was born in Florence, SC, a son of the late Willard A. Purvis and Allia Mae Collins Purvis.He retired from Delta Mills and was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church. Mr. Purvis was a veteran of the US Army. Surviving are his siblings, DeAnn Moore of Florence, Sylvia (Jack) Turbeville of Sebring, FL, Nancy Blanck of Brownsburg, IN, Scott (Belva) Purvis of Effingham and Kay (Jimmy) Matthews of Charlotte, NC and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at Hopewell Presbyterian Church Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
