Wesley G. "Upie" Clendenin, Jr. Florence, SC Wesley G. "Upie" Clendenin, Jr., 43, of Florence, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Clendenin, Jr. was born in Virginia, a son of Brenda Lee Salyers Clendenin and the late Wesley Grean "Wildman" Clendenin, Sr.He was a member of the Gospel Temple Worship Center. Surviving are his mother of Florence; children, Jill (Robbie) Neal, Chris Lawson, Danielle Lawson and Joshua Clendenin and their mother, Priscilla Clendenin, all of Florence; eight grandchildren and the ninth grandchild to be born soon; sisters, Melissa Dunn of Florence and Pam Clendenin of Florence and step-brothers, Beacher Barton of Bee, VA and Timothy Barton of Clinchco, VA. Memorials may be made to Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home to assist the family. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, December 21, 2012 at the Gospel Temple Worship Center.Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
