Wayne Lee Johnson

Wayne Lee Johnson, 82, of Florence, SC, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. Mr. Johnson was born a son of the late Rachail Constant Johnson and Leroy Johnson.He was a retired truck driver after working with the City of Florence for ten years.He was a volunteer working at the front desk with the Leatherman Senior Center and a member of Abundant Life. He is survived by his wife, Mary Brogdon Johnson; son, Lando Johnson (Sherrie) of Timmonsville; daughter, Sharon Nesbitt of North Carolina; step-son, John Lee (Amy) of Timmonsville; step-daughters, Cindy Bender (Michael) of Salt Lake City, Utah and Laura Hassler (Juerg) of Greenville, SC; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brother, Ralph Johnson of Timmonsville. Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at Florence National Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Due to the current COVID-19 concerns, social distancing will be observed.
