Wayne Alton Clark Sr.

Wayne Alton Clark Sr. passed away Friday, August 29, 2025.

He was the son of the late Pharoah Alton Clark and Mary Louise Grice Clark.

Wayne attended Richmond County schools. He was a loan manager for Barclays, TYCO Credit, and Anderson Brothers Bank where he retired in 2023. He was a member of Florence Baptist Temple.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Rachel Alison Clark.

Surviving is his wife of 58 years, Jeannette P. Clark; son, Wayne Alton Clark Jr.; brothers, Leon Clark and Ricky (Robin) Clark; sisters, Joann (Tony) Starling and Sandra Smith.

The family will receive friends and family Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held Monday, September 8, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Florence Baptist Temple.

Burial will follow at 3:30 PM at Richmond Memorial Park in Rockingham, NC.
