Wayne Arthur Andrews

Wayne Arthur Andrews, Sr., 81, of Effingham, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018. Mr. Andrews was born in Darlington, SC a son of the late James Roland Andrews and Wilma Maude Davis Andrews.He was a retired Terminal Director for Yellow Freight Lines and a member of the Teamsters Union. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Grace Gardner Andrews; son, Wayne Arthur Andrews, Jr. and sisters, Mary Wilson, Ivanelle Sanders and Jean Jordan. Surviving are his son, Michael DeWayne Andrews of Florence; daughter, Patricia Ann Gallagher of California; grandchildren, Jackee Johnston, Lauren Gallagher and Katie Anzueto and 4 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 29, 2018, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, www.diabetes.org.
