Wanda Jean Stallons

Wanda Jean Stallons, 60, of Rockingham, NC, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2020. Mrs. Stallons was born in Darlington, SC a daughter of the late John D. Gainey and Etta Ree Freeman Gainey. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale Stallons; sister, Gloria Brunson; brothers, John D. “Larry” Gainey, Jr., Bobby Ray Gainey, John A. Gainey, Ronnie Gainey, Donnie Gainey, and Grady Gainey. Surviving are her son, Marshall Gainey of Hartsville; daughters, Brittney (Josh) Weatherford of Effingham, and Ranada (Nick) Freeman of North Myrtle Beach; grandchildren, Ashely (Devrixk) Bowen, Nyla Gainey, Branden Freeman, Noah Williams, Nathaniel Poston, Joshiah Poston, Jonah Poston, Daniel Jones, Joseph Carnes, McKenlee Kendrick, Maddox Weatherford, Brynlee Weatherford, and Lemuel Pate; great-grandchildren, Aalyiah Gainey, Ka’maya Bowen, and Ky’ree Bowen; brother, Jimmy (Jody) Gainey of Abbeville, SC; sister, Sandra Buff of Darlington, and special friend, Thomas A. Heyer. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Florence Memorial Gardens directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.Due to Covid-19, social distancing will be observed.
