Walter Fredrick Rivers, 48, of Pamplico, SC passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021. Mr. Rivers was born in Cheraw, SC a son of Louise Haire Rivers and the late John D. Rivers, Sr. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Poston Rivers of Pamplico; mother, Louise H. Rivers of Wallace, SC; brother, John D. Rivers, Jr. of Louisville, KY; nephew, John D. Rivers, III of Louisville, KY; nieces, Elizabeth A. Greer of Louisville, KY and Caroline D. Crowell of Pendleton, Indiana; great-niece, Piper Crowell and his special mother at heart, Doris D. Haire of Wallace, SC. The family will receive friends from 2 – 3 pm Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.Graveside services will be held at 3:30 pm Sunday at Hicks Cemetery in Coward.
