Vivian Chambers Hayford

Vivian Chambers Hayford, 86, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2015 in a local health care facility. Mrs. Hayford was born in Butler, PA a daughter of the late Floyd Chambers and Sara Christy Chambers.She was a former member of Bethany United Methodist Church, currently a member of Central United Methodist Church and was a registered nurse for various hospitals. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Halsey Hayford and two brothers, Ronald Chambers and Wesley Chambers. Surviving are her son, Christy (Chris) Hayford of Boston, Mass; daughters, Debra Stephens of Florence and Joy Curtiss of Summerville; sisters, Jean Himes of Grove City, PA and Jan Burnett of Harrisville, PA; two grandchildren, Nicole Curtiss Malphrus and Christa Curtiss Cottrell; great-grandchild, Rose Elizabeth Malphrus. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, August 14, 2015 at Central United Methodist Church directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.The family will receive friends in the commons area immediately following the service.
