Virginia Darnell Langley

Virginia Darnell Langley, 83, of Florence, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021. Mrs. Langley was born in Lancaster, SC a daughter of the late William Edgar Farmer and Minnie Scott Farmer.She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ernest, Edgar, Lynell, William, and Paul; and a sister, Violet Polson. Surviving are her husband, Gene Haskell Langley, Sr.; sons, Gene Haskell (Wendy) Langley, Jr. of Effingham and John Scott (Lisa) Langley of Florence; daughter, Heydee (John) Wagner of Florence; grandchildren, Meredith Langley, August (Whitney) Langley, September Langley, Hannah (William) Graham, Jordan Langley, Julia Wagner, Brandon Langley, Madalyn Wagner, and Ellery Grace Wagner; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Ann Beasley; and many nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC29605. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, January 29, 2021 at the Florence National Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
