Viola Streett Hudson

Viola Streett Hudson, 84, of Florence, SC passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021. Mrs. Hudson was born in Florence, SC a daughter of the late Daisy Streett.Viola graduated from McClenaghan High School and from the nursing program at Saunders Memorial Hospital in 1956.She retired from nursing after 30 years of service.She loved sports and played in Senior Sports Classic games for 25 years and won many medals, and was a member of Emanuel Ministries.She loved her family, church, and animals. She was preceded in death by her mother, Daisy Streett and her brother, William Ross Streett. She is survived by her twin sister, Violet Streett Barino; nephews, David (Debra) Barino, Randy (Tiny) Barino, and Billy (Donna) Barino; great-niece, Jenna Barino; godchildren, Amber Coker and Lance Coker, and a large extended family. The family will receive friends from 2 – 3 PM Monday, July 12, 2021 at Evergreen Baptist Church with the service be held at 3:00 PM in the church sanctuary.Burial will follow in Garden of Memories directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
