Vendell Lee Carraway Florence, SC Vendell Lee Carraway, 101, of Florence, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 26, 2014. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 28, 2014 at Matthews Cemetery, Coward, SC, burial will follow directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Mrs. Carraway was born in Florence County, SC a daughter of the late Cinnamus Lee and Mary Springs Lee. She was a member of Palmetto Street Church of God. Mrs. Carraway worked as a seamstress with Florence Manufacturing Company for Thirty years and also worked with Avon for Thirty Years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Carraway; infant twins; sisters, Bessie Grant and Tensie Thomas; brother, Deleamen Lee and many other family members and friends.
