Vanessa Grayson Galloway

Vanessa Grayson Galloway, 53, of Timmonsville, SC passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018 at McLeod Hospice House after an extended illness. Mrs. Galloway was born in Loris, SC, the daughter of Linda Ellen Skipper Brown and the late Billy Brown.Mrs. Galloway and her husband were the former owners of Galloway Auto Glass in Florence, SC. Vanessa was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Gamecocks and the Carolina Panthers, as well as racing and golf events. Her interests also included reading, dancing and listening to beach music.She especially enjoyed spending time with her many friends and her cherished pets.Vanessa was a loving and devoted caregiver to her mother, for many years, before she became ill. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Clyde and Genevieve Blanton Skipper; and uncle, Wayne Skipper. Survivors include her devoted and loving husband of 34 years, G. Clint Galloway, who was also her best friend; her mother, Linda Skipper Brown; her brother, William Anthony (June) Brown; her aunt, Vivian Skipper (Dave) Orrell; her great-aunt, Shelby Dean Blanton Strickland; mother-in-law, Susie Galloway; sister-in-law, Jeanie (Greg) Hughes; brother-in-laws, Timmy (Tammy) Galloway and Steve (Kelly) Galloway; nieces, Carrie, Sydney and Casey Brown, Chapel Hughes, and Amanda Galloway; nephews, Gregory Hughes, TJ, Scott and Zach Galloway.Survivors also include her cousins, Elaine Williams, Garrett Williams, Samantha Alsup, Cameron Edwards, Clyde, Tony and Sean Skipper. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, December 10, 2018 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Twin City Memorial Gardens in Loris, SC at 2:00 PM.
