Uldine Collins Taylor Charleston, SC Uldine Collins Taylor, 90, formerly of Florence, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015 in a Charleston hospital after an illness. She was born in Florence, SC a daughter of the late Clarence Collins and Rosa Pridgen Collins.She had been an active member of Highland Park United Methodist Church before moving to Charleston. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Owen Joseph Taylor, Sr.; daughter, Dolores T. Lawrence; three brothers and three sisters. Surviving are her daughter, Dolly (Willard) Mizzell of Charleston; son, Owen Joseph (Patricia) Taylor, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and son-in-law, James Lawrence of Columbia. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 7021 St. Andrews Road, Suite 100A, Columbia, SC29212. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, May 25, 2015 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
