On Wednesday, January 1, 2014, Heaven gained an amazing servant for the Lord.Tommy Graham, age 62, of Florence, formerly of Lake City, entered into heaven’s gates.He was the son of Frances Ivey Player and the late Thomas McBride “Bob” Graham. Tommy surrendered his life to Jesus Christ at age 26, and was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church.Tommy served in the Pee Dee for many years as a worship leader and surrendered to God’s call in 2002 to Music Evangelism and ministry.He was well known as a wonderful trumpet player and singer. He graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree from Coker College and taught band, chorus and music at Briggs Elementary School for 16 years until he retired in 2012. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his step-father, Elbert Player. Surviving are his wife of twenty-two years, Sharon L. Graham; his mother, Frances Ivey Player; his children, Tre’ (Ashley) Graham of Florence, Shelley (Jason) Rholetter of Florence, and Brantley Graham of Kingstree; his grandchildren, Alex Rholetter, Maddie Rholetter and Connor Graham; and his sister, Dolores Matthews of Florence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 4, 2014, at Greenwood Baptist Church directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the McLeod Center For Cancer Treatment, P. O.
