Timothy Johnston Wooten

Timothy Johnston Wooten, 54, of Effingham, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon, May 26, 2013 at Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel. Entombment will follow, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Mr. Wooten was born in Richland Co., SC a son of Elva Johnston and David F. Wooten, Sr. He was a charter member of Unity Baptist Church. He was employed for the past 34 years with Rock-Tenn in Florence. Surviving in addition to his parents are his son, Warren Wooten of Florence, Warren’s mother, Julie Wooten; brothers, David F. (Terri) Wooten, Jr. and G.R. “Rusty” Wooten both of Florence; a number of nieces and nephews; his faithful feline and canine companions. The family will receive friends from 2:30- 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Funeral Home.
