Tim Tarlton

Tim Tarlton, 72, of Florence, SC, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at home surrounded by his family. Mr. Tarlton was born in Chesterfield, SC, a son of the late Ben Tarlton and Edith Adams Tarlton.He worked for Vulcraft for thirty-five years, having been a truck driver and supervisor.He loved hunting, fishing and cutting his grass. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Steven Glen Tarlton and his brother, Julius Howard “Pete” Tarlton. Surviving are his wife of fifty years, Willa Mae Abrams Tarlton; his sons, Timothy Mark (Michelle) Tarlton and Jason Lee (Ashley) Tarlton; his grandchildren, Nicholas Tarlton, Chase Tartlon, Wyatt Tarlton and Dylan Tarlton; and his sisters, Helen Poston, Betty (Al) Cole, Pat (Phil) Harrington and Linda (Calvin) Isgett. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2014, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
