Thomas Kelly Key Jr.

Thomas Kelly Key Jr., 82, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026. He loved trains and restoring old cars. He enjoyed playing the guitar and listening to country and blues music. Mr. Key watched Church of God International.

He was born in Jacksonville, FL, the son of the late Thomas Kelly Key Sr. and Ann Rebecca Elks Key.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving are his wife, of 64 ½ years, Carol Key; son, Thomas Key III; daughter, Liza Key; 3 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brother, Danny R. (Linda) Key; sister, Rebecca (Eddie) Leviner and Alison Andrews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at the Key residence, 503 Ministry Lane, Florence, SC 29506.

Burial will take place at 2:00 PM, on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the Key residence, 503 Ministry Lane, Florence, SC 29506.
