Thomas R. Cribb

Thomas R. Cribb, Sr., 81, of Florence, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021. Mr. Cribb was born in Florence County, SC a son of the late Smith Cribb and Gertrude Ard Cribb.He was a US Army veteran having served in Vietnam and Korea, and was a member of Trinity Evangelical Presbyterian Church.He worked as an auto mechanic and after retirement, he drove a school bus. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Florence H. Cribb; 2 brothers and 1 sister. Surviving are his son, Tommy (Robin) Cribb; daughter, Wendy (Gene) Langley; grandchildren, Ashley (Dorian) Stewart, Hunter Cribb, Jordan Langley, Brandon Langley, and Meredith Langley; great-grandchildren, Larkin Yarborough, Harper Langley, Lorelei Langley, and River Morse. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm Wednesday at Trinity Evangelical Presbyterian Church.Burial will follow in the Florence National Cemetery.
