Thelma Rogers Speas

Thelma Rogers Speas, 83, of Florence, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017. Mrs. Speas was born the daughter of the late John Robert Gandy and Susan Kennedy Gandy. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two husbands, John Harris Rogers, Jr. and William Speas and her sister, Mamie Perkins. She is survived by her son, John Kyle Rogers of Columbia; daughter, Teressa Rogers Geddings (Tim) of Florence; grandchildren, William Geddings, Weston Geddings (Julia), Matthew Geddings (Morgan), Rachel Geddings White (Brian), Harris Rogers, Jack Rogers, and Juliann Rogers; great-grandchildren, Isaac Geddings and Landon White; and sister, Lee Hill (Tom) of Florence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Manna House, 450 Jarrott St, Florence, SC 29506.
