A memorial service for Terry Lee King, 69, will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, July 19th, at Elim Baptist Church in Effingham, South Carolina, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 18th at the home of Betty and Wayne Ham at 6400 Anderson Field Road in Effingham, South Carolina and other times at the home. Terry (affectionately known as “Uncle T”) died Saturday, July 16th, at home.He was born July 14th, 1947 in Florence, South Carolina, to Mrs. Eloris Lee King and the late George E. King.He was a member of Elim Baptist Church where he was involved in many activities.He was presently employed at Builders FirstSource.He was a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed bowling, woodworking, and his Carolina Gamecocks. Survivors are his wife of 46 years, Ann Carmon King, mother, Eloris Lee King, sisters Georgie Bochette of Florence, Suzan (Orell) Lee of Timmonsville, Jeannie (Eddie) Smith of Tennessee, his special niece, Kaylee Reigel, as well as many other nieces and nephews.He also had numerous in-laws which were like siblings.A special thanks to his brother-in-law, Gene Gibson.
