Tallon Davis Goff

Tallon Davis Goff, 22, of Florence, SC passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025.

He was born in Florence, SC, to Kathryn Minshew Goff and Robert L. Goff III.

Tallon was a senior at the University of South Carolina in the Darla Moore School of Business, with plans to graduate this December. Family and friends remember Tallon as adventurous, fearless, and passionate. Tallon had tremendous loyalty for his family and friends and never failed to make people laugh.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by brothers, Collin Lang and Adam Gardner Goff; maternal grandparents, Cameron Tallon Minshew and Roland G. “Butch” Minshew; paternal grandparents, Reba B. Goff and Robert L. Goff; and a very special great aunt, Kathy Lee Minshew.

Tallon was the Marshal of the Delta Chapter of Sigma Nu fraternity at South Carolina, recipient of the Palmetto Fellows scholarship, and a devoted Gamecock fan. Those who knew Tallon know that he loved nothing more than the outdoors, from hunting to fishing every chance he could. His presence will be missed everywhere, but especially in Williams-Brice Stadium. Those fortunate enough to witness him in his garnet and black overalls will never forget the sight. The family is very grateful for the many friends who shared these experiences with Tallon and will keep his spirit alive. Tallon’s fiery soul will remain with us always.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 9th, 2025 at Highland Park United Methodist Church, 1300 2nd Loop Rd, Florence, SC 29505. The family will receive friends after the service.

Memorials may be sent to Highland Park UMC in Florence, or the Wild Turkey Federation in Tallon’s memory. Plans for a foundation in Tallon’s honor will be shared at a later date.
