Sylvia Crowley

Sylvia Crowley, 81, died Monday, July 25, 2016 at McLeod Regional Medical Center. She was born October 19, 1934 in Florence, a daughter of the late John Dudley Jordan and Corene Lee Jordan. She was a member of Elim Baptist Church, and in the past, was active in the WMU. Survivors include a son, Steve (Barbara) Crowley of Florence; a daughter, Fran (Kyle) Baber of Georgia; grandchildren, Stephen, Jordan, and Melissa Crowley and Andy and Lacey Yarborough; and great-grandchildren, Preston Michael Crowley and Bravery Yarborough. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Crowley, brothers Rolph and Arvid Jordan, and a sister, Merlene Wiggins. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Elim Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the church Family Life Center.
