SUZANNE CHEEK FEGER Banner Elk, North Carolina Suzanne Cheek Feger, 60, of Banner Elk, North Carolina, joined her sister, Mary Lynn Cheek Smith in heaven on Sunday, November 28, 2010. She was born June 7, 1950, in Spartanburg, SC.She was the daughter of James William and Mary Doyle Cheek.Suzanne graduated from Dorman High School, Winthrop College and received her Masters Degree from Converse College.She taught school for many years in Lenoir, NC. Surviving are her husband, Bob Feger; brothers, Sammy Cheek (Kathy) of Florence, SC and Jim Cheek (Nancy) of Spartanburg, SC, and several nieces and nephews.She also leaves behind her beloved pet dog and companion, Poogin. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Foscoe Christian Church in Boone, NC. The family is being assisted by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
