Steven Eugene Byrd, 53, of Florence, SC passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017. Mr. Byrd was born in Bennettsville, SC a son of Louise Brumbles Miles and the late Charles Edward Byrd.He loved fishing. Surviving are his step-father, Charles Miles; son, Steven E. Byrd, Jr.; daughter, Melissa Byrd; brothers, Donald Edward Byrd, Charles Wayne Byrd and Purvis Lee Byrd; sisters, Judy Bird and Audrey Lilley. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 950 48th Avenue North, Suite 101, Myrtle Beach, SC, 29577. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Eastside Free Will Baptist Church. Please send messages to the family at the obit section of www.stoudenmiredowling.com.
