Stephen John Dvorsak, 86, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Mr. Dvorsak was born in Brooklyn, New York, a son of the late Albert Dvorsak and Elizabeth Conrad Dvorsak.He was a veteran of the US Army and served during the Korean War.Mr. Dvorsak retired as a lineman with Central Hudson Gas & Electricity and was a former volunteer firefighter.He attended Westminster Presbyterian Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dvorsak is preceded in death by his wife, Willie Faye Funderburk Dvorsak; a brother, Edward Dvorsak, and a sister, Rita Dvorsak. Mr. Dvorsak is survived by his two daughters, Terri D. Daniels of Florence and Libby Dvorsak of Charleston; a son, Stephen Albert Dvorsak of Florence; grandchildren, Jennifer D. Goodyear and Stephen Douglas Johnson; two great-grandchildren, Marlee Goodyear and Bradlee Goodyear; brother, Albert Dvorak of Marietta, GA; brother-in-law, Jack (Becky) Funderburk of Greeleyville; sister-in-law, Sandra F. Urquhart of Florence, and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Richburg Cemetery in Greeleyville, SC, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
