Sidney Milton Bullard Florence, SC Sidney Milton Bullard, 72, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 09, 2013. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at the Florence National Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Veterans Honor Guard. Burial will follow directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Sidney was born in Florence, SC a son of Nina Gandy Gibbs and the late Sidney DeBerry Bullard. He retired from Dupont after 37 years of service. He served as an umpire for the Little League games at Tara Village Ball Park for many years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Jackie Roger Bullard. Surviving are his devoted wife of 50 years, Brenda Spell Bullard of Florence; mother of Virginia; children, David DeBerry Bullard, Dennis Dwayne (Leslie Perkins) Bullard and Becky Bullard all of Florence and Cynthia Ann (Chris) Averette of Monroe, NC; grandchildren, Sydney Bullard of Florence, Christopher Averette, Chace Averette of Monroe, NC and Tiffany Averette of Water Town, NY; step-grandchild, Hannah Sims of Florence; sister, Janice (Ronnie) Porter of Garden City; brother-in-law, Tommy (Jane) Spellof Florence; nephew, Brandon Spell of Florence and his son, Thomas Peyton Spell; niece, Dana Gannon of Florence and her children, Matthew Tyler Gannon and Sara Elizabeth Gannon; nephew, Jamie Gannon of Florence;aunt, Mammie Gandy Perkins; faithful canine companions Tabitha and Baby Lyssa. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm Monday, October 14, 2013 at the Funeral Home and other times at the residence. Memorials may be made to the McLeod Hospice House, P.O.
