Shirley Singletary Thiem

CHAPIN - Heaven received an angel with the passing of Shirley Singletary Thiem, 63, on Saturday, August 15, 2015. She was predeceased by her father, James Durant Singletary; brother, Fredrick James “Skip” Singletary and her sister, Carolyn Marie Singletary. Shirley leaves behind her daughter, Allison Thiem Hartley (Scott); sons, Jonathan Jaworsky (Nicole) and Stephen Jaworsky; niece, Shari Marie Singletary and five grandchildren. There will be a wake at the home of Mrs. Thiem from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2015. Burial will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the Singletary family cemetery in Coward, SC. Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home is assisting the family with local arrangements.
