Shirley Jean Doughty Taylor, 68, of Pamplico, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 28, 2015. Mrs. Taylor was born in Dallas, Texas, a daughter of the late Buford Grady Inman and Dorothy O’Dell Pair Inman.She was of the Baptist Faith and was a talented artist and gardener, especially her roses.Mrs. Taylor loved music of all kinds. Surviving are her husband, James Victor Taylor; children, Marsha (Stuart) Matthews of Effingham, David C. (Linda) Doughty, III of Coward, Robert E. Doughty of California; Deanna (Larry) Singer of Dothan, AL, LuAnn (Tim) Cogdell of Newberry, SC and Vicki (Jay) Maddox of Timmonsville; grandchildren, Crystal Jean Inman, Gary Edward Taylor, Laura Ann Doughty, David Michael Doughty, Jennifer Doughty Gaskins, Dustin (Roxy) Doughty and Gracie Miller; three great-grandchildren; brother, Douglas B. Inman of Georgia; sister, Vickie Lynn (Dale) Smith of Georgia; canine companion, “Sugar” and two birds, “Baby” and “Tweet”. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Randy Thomas Doughty. Memorials may be made to McLeod Hospice House, P. O.
