Shelton Rodney Hinds

Shelton Rodney Hinds, 59, of Pamplico, SC, departed this life and into eternal life on Sunday, January 11, 2015. Mr. Hinds was born in Florence, SC, a son of the late William Henry Hinds and Dorothy Ellen Turner Hinds.He was a member of Pamplico United Methodist Church and worked for Weatherford Aluminum.Mr. Hinds served with honor in the US Navy and was a Vietnam veteran. Surviving are his son, Guy Hinds of Elkmont, AL; brothers, William Hinds, Jr. of Murrells Inlet, SC, Winston (Marlene) Hinds of Summerton, SC, John (Debbie) Hinds of Florence and Charles (Mary) Hinds of Florence; sister, Lois Hinds Shelley (of the home) of Pamplico; three nephews and two nieces. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 16, 2015, Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Methodist Cemetery with full military honors.
