Shelby Ann Hewitt

Shelby Ann Hewitt, 78, of Florence, SC, was born on July 30, 1939, and died on August 2, 2017. Shelby is absent from the body and present with the Lord. Shelby was an excellent photographer, having her own studio earlier in her life in Cary, NC and also an artist and gardener and striving for the best in all she did.She greatly appreciated all of God’s creation. When diagnosed with breast cancer, she started a support group, called “Shelby’s Group”. She predeceased by parents, Smiley and Edna Moore Hewitt and her sister, Vonnie Street (Norman). Shelby is survived by her sister, Judy Hewitt Lane (Lennie); nephews, Chad Lane, Gary Streett (Kathleen), Tim Streett (Teresa); great nephews and nieces and very dear cousins. Family will receive friends from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 6, 2017, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.
