Sheila Cox Gamble

Sheila Cox Gamble, 65, of Florence, began her new adventure of life without pain on Tuesday, February 20, 2018. Mrs. Gamble was the daughter of the late Edwin L. Cox and Doreatha Strickland Cox.She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church but held a special place in her heart for her home church, Immanuel Baptist Church. Mrs. Gamble was a 1970 graduate of McClenaghan High School in Florence and attended Florida Bible College in Hollywood, Florida.She was a loving homemaker and stay at home mom.In later years, she was employed with and retired from Wilson-Wright-Moore & Coleman Forestry Consulting. She is survived by her husband, Milton Gamble, Jr.; son, Adam Gamble (Kayla) of Florence; daughters, Anna Bryan (Robert) of Florence and Emily Staggs (Jason) of Campobello, SC; brother, Edwin L. Cox of Henderson, NV; grandchildren, Samantha Bryan, Elizabeth Bryan, Jacey Staggs, Owen Staggs, Claire Marie Staggs, and Anderson Gamble; and a number of nieces and nephews and a loving extended family. Memorial Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 23, at Immanuel Baptist Church directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
