Sharon Hudson Clifford

Sharon Hudson Clifford, 65, of Florence, SC passed away.

She was born the daughter of the late Evangeline Leach Hudson and Dallas N. Hudson.

A proud graduate of South Florence High School (Class of 1978) and Francis Marion University (Class of 1982) with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Sharon dedicated her career to the financial sector. She worked with several financial institutions over the years, most recently serving as a carrier returns specialist for Truist Bank.

Above all, Sharon was a genuinely warm, loving, and giving person who would do absolutely anything to help someone in need. Her fantastic sense of humor and radiant spirit brought endless joy to those around her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and colleagues.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Brandon Clifford.

Surviving is her daughter, Lindsay Hutchinson; a brother, Stephen D. (Sarah) Hudson; and a sister, Sheila (Kenny) Coward.

The family will receive friends 1:00 – 3:00 PM Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
