Selma Louise Mcgee Powell

SELMA LOUISE McGEE POWELL FLORENCE, SC SELMA LOUISE McGEE POWELL, 75, of Florence, died Monday, March 28, 2011 in a Florence hospital after an illness. Mrs. Powell was born in Florence Co., SC a daughter of the late LeRoy and Louise McKnight McGee.She was a member of the Gospel Temple Church and had retired from ESAB in 1992. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters and four brothers. Surviving are her husband, LeGran R. Powell of Florence; son, Terry L. Powell and his wife, Wanda, of Florence; sisters, Clydia Hatfield and her husband, Dudley, of Florence and Polly Tilton of Florence; four special sisters-in-law, Marilyn P. Anderson of Florence, Clara P. McElveen of Lake City, SC, Myrtle McGee and Brenda McGee, both of Florence and a number of nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 31, 2011 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Entombment will follow in the Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
