SARAH ELLEN KEEFE POSTON Florence, SC Sarah Ellen Keefe Poston, 96, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016. Mrs. Poston was born in Pamplico, SC a daughter of the late William Wallace Keefe and Leila Estelle Page Keefe.She attended Pamplico schools, was a member of the Union Baptist Church, where she was a member of the church choir and served as church treasurer.She was a member of the WMU and a member of the Eastern Star.She was a homemaker and devoted mother and grandmother.She loved to prepare and serve delicious meals to family and friends and was a caregiver to many. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl Davis Poston; daughter, Patsy Ellen Poston; brothers, Sidney Keefe, Frank Keefe, Cleo Keefe, Odell Keefe, Rudolph Keefe, Fred Keefe, Guy Keefe and Clarence Keefe and by a sister, Myrtle Keefe. Surviving are her daughters, Sue Carol Overton Vernon, Edna Earle (Jeff) Poston and Sandra Faye P. (Sonny) Mouzon; grandchildren, Carol (Tom) Mitchell, Louis Marvin Overton, Jr., Jonathan Allen Overton, Douglas R. (Ryan) Poston, Jr., Amanda Carter, Talbert Earl Poston, Monica P. (Mike) Kimbrough, Paige P. (Keith) Holsapple, Jeffrey Wade (Jackie) Poston, Adaire M. (Thad) Calcutt and Rhett Mouzon; great-grandchildren, Lindsay Mitchell (Adam) Vandergrift, Lauren Mitchell, Blake Overton, Braxton Overton, Kimberly Overton, Christina Poston, David (Kelianne) Poston, Justin Hardee, Collin Carter, Evan Carter, Davis Kimbrough, Dewey Kimbrough, Jefferson Kimbrough, Poston Holsapple, Taylor Morgan, Tanner Poston, Harper Poston, Lane Calcutt and Sarah Grace Calcutt; great-great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Overton, Adam Vandergrift, Aiden Vandergrift, Carter Hardee, Sarah Ella Hardee, Thomas Hardee and Aydan Poston. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday in the Poston Memorial Cemetery, Old Salem Road in Pamplico, SC directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the Union Baptist Church.
