Samuel Chester Nichols

Samuel Chester Nichols, 85, of Florence, SC passed away Monday, August 18, 2025.

He was born in Chester, SC to the late Lerline Copeland Nichols and Henry Orion Nichols. He was a member of Family Worship and a social worker for Tri County Mental Health Center in Dillon, where he retired in 2005.

Surviving is his wife, Kathrine Lawrence Nichols; son, Christopher Bryan (Amanda) Nichols; grandchild, Gavin C. Nichols; brother, Marvin Nichols; sisters, Joyce Gardner and Carolyn.

A church led memorial service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Family Worship Center with the visitation to follow.
