RUTH SMITH MOSELEY FLORENCE, SC Ruth Smith Moseley, 77, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2016. Mrs. Moseley was born in Lexington, KY a daughter of the late Boaz Smith and Louise Edmiston Smith.Ruth retired as a registered nurse and was a former Surgical Tech Instructor at Florence Darlington Technical College.She was a member of John Calvin Presbyterian Church, a dedicated military wife and an avid Redskin fan. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rev. Hiram H. Moseley and brother, Mahlon Smith. Surviving are her son, Mark (Tonya) Moseley of Florence; daughter, Renee (Eric) Kent of Yorktown, VA; grandchildren, Austin (Mackenzie) Kent, Travis (Barbara) Kent, Kayla (Sean) Hoefer, Harley Moseley and Joshua Moseley; great-grandchildren, Dylan and Rylee Kent and brother, Mack (Ruby) Smith of Westchester, OH. Memorials may be made to the McLeod Foundation, PO Box 100551, Florence, SC29502. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow in Christ Church Cemetery.
