Ruth Adams Lee

Ruth Adams Lee, 72, of Florence, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020. Mrs. Lee was born in Waltham, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late Robert L. Newton and Ruth Patriquin Newton.She graduated from the University of Southern Maine and had worked for the City of Florence.She was a member of Quinby United Methodist Church where she had been a lay servant and secretary for the United Methodist Women and a member of the choir. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by a daughter, Theresa L. Griebel. Surviving are her husband, Robert E. Lee; sons, Franklin T. (Teresa) Adams of Jennings, OK and Kevin R. (Detta) Adams of Darlington, SC; grandchildren, Rebekah Foster, Ryan Griebel, Aaron Eades, and Logan Eades; great-grandchildren, Natalie Foster, Victoria Foster, Raven Foster, Logan Foster, and Adeline Brown; sisters, Esther McKeen of Jenson Beach, FL and Shirley A. Tait of Karns City, PA. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
