Russell Walter Merrill, 68, of Florence, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. Mr. Merrill was born a son of the late Dorothy Wade Merrill and Russell Merrill. He was a Mason.Mr. Merrill was an avid hunter and fisherman and hunting guide. He loved to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Pridgen Merrill; sons, Robert “Erik” Merrill (Crystal) and Thomas “Austin” Merrill, both of Florence; grandchild, Bentley Merrill; and sister, Rene Finucan of Morehead City, NC.Family will receive visitors at 1915 Herring Place, Florence, SC29506. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.Family is being assisted by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
