Russell D. Dozier

Russell D. Dozier, 65, of Florence, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020. Mr. Dozier was born in Florence, SC a son of the late Jesse Ludy Dozier and Itaska Kirby Dozier.He was the operations manager for Crown Beverages and a member of Unity Baptist Church.He enjoyed hunting, and watching hockey, baseball, and racing. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife, Theresa Welch Dozier; daughter, Kristin Dozier of Florence; grandson, Jonathon Dozier, and granddaughter, Cheyenne Dozier. The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 pm Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home with the service to follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel.Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.Covid-19 protocol will be observed for all gatherings.
